Safety training

Employees are trained and certified in a variety of fields, such as TDG, WHMIS, H2S Alive, IRP, First Aid, CPR, CSTS, and Respiratory Protection, on a continuous basis. Alberta Human Resources and Employment has recognized us as “Partners in Health and Safety” for actively participating in and supporting government and industry safety initiatives.GB Bros. is a member of the Better Business Bureau, ISNetworld, and the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). The Alberta Environment has registered us as a Partner in Compliance (PIC) carrier to haul hazardous materials. In addition to pre-employment drug tests and reference checks, GB Bros. comprehensive health & safety program includes an evaluation of employee driving and equipment operation skills.

Employee accountability

GB Bros. employees all share equal responsibility in minimizing incidents. All employees are required to follow the “Safety Policy” manual for safe working practices and procedures.

Incidental loss

In addition to good management, employees can be involved in controlling incidental losses. We are all responsible for creating a safe work environment.
