In addition to transporting aggregates we also have our own line of excavating machines for both commercial and residential excavations and groundwork which are operated under our subsidiary company North Coast Excavation. Backed by years of industry experience, our skilled team is equipped to handle a wide range of tasks, from site preparation and grading to trenching and land clearing. WHO WE ARE
Our History
GB Bros. was initially operated as Baryar Trucking (also a subsidiary company of GB Bros.) founded in 2005 with two truck and trailer units, mainly focusing on hauling construction materials and gravel products in Calgary, Alberta. Over the years, we've grown and expanded our services to multi-city aggregate platforms in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
As a family-owned business, we deeply value the importance of teamwork and collaboration and as a result of the trust and respect we have established in this line of work, our current number of power units has come close to 20 truck and trailers with an additional fleet of multiple 360-degree excavators and trackhoes

Over the last 20 years, we have played an integral role in numerous major projects throughout Calgary and Alberta. Our involvement spans the construction of new roads and highways, airport runway expansions, widening of key highways in both Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as dams and river projects. Additionally, we have managed the transportation of contaminants, with our drivers and equipment consistently at the forefront of these critical initiatives performing professionally and respectfully.
In addition, we have maintained a 15-year working relationship with Aecon Group Inc. (formerly South Rock) and an even longer history of collaboration with other prominent companies in the aggregate industry, including Lafarge Canada Inc., Burnco Rock Products, Heidelberg Materials, and more.
